Presenting at the Colorado Association of School Boards 2025 Convention!

Jed Bernstein, Theatre Aspen’s Producing Director, my wonderful Co-Director, Alicia Millerson, and I had the privilege of presenting at the Colorado Association of School Boards Annual Convention in Colorado Springs.

Our session highlighted the vital role Arts Education plays in K-12 student development, and shared Theatre Aspen’s ongoing work to expand access to arts education throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.

We were honored to be joined by Aspen School District Superintendent Tharyn Mulberry, Garfield County Schools Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Baugh, and a panel of Theatre Aspen EDU students and parents who spoke to the power of these programs from lived experience.

We are grateful to continue championing this conversation statewide!

Gone West!

Plot twist! I moved to Aspen, CO, in August, and I’m now the Co-Director of Education at Theatre Aspen. I’m directing the Fall 7th–12th production of Bye Bye Birdie and teaching Intro to Theatre at Aspen High School through our partnership with the Aspen School District! Trading city life and the seaside for mountains, big skies, and a brand-new adventure!

Graduation: May 10th!

After three years of hard work, I am so proud to announce that I will graduate with an MFA in Theatre Education and Applied Theatre from Emerson College on Saturday, May 10th, 2025!

Hello friends!

As part of my thesis project, I have written a short play based on the interviews I conducted over the past couple of months.

I would be so honored if you could join me on Sunday, March 16th for a reading of the play.

The reading will begin at 4:00 PM. My dear friend and fellow cohort member, Sandy, will also be presenting with me right after at 5:30 PM. I encourage you all to stay and hear her wonderful work as well.

The reading will take place at 300 Hammond Pond Parkway, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
